University Soccer Field
The Fall of 2009 was a banner season for the West Georgia Wolves, as fans were treated to the first games in the brand new UWG Athletic Complex, which features competition football, soccer and softball stadiums. The soccer Wolves played their first game at the complex on September 18, 2009, against the Georgia College & State University Bobcats. However, that game was not the first at University Field, as that game was played at night under the lights of the football practice field. The first game at University Field was almost a month later, once the field and locker rooms were completed. On September 11, 2009, North Alabama came to town as the Wolves' first opponent in their brand new home. Since then, the field has seen updates ranging from branded windscreens, a permanent sound system, and a new mounted Hudl camera.
