MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of West Georgia tennis team dropped their midweek GSC conference matchup with the Montevallo Falcons losing 5-2.
West Georgia (3-6, 0-4) was able to win the doubles point as Futaba Saito and Lea Von Kozierowski won their match 6-4 while Karla Menendez and Luna Mouton won their set 6-1.
The other point came from von Kozierowski who was placed in the number one singles spot and won the first set 6-3, and she won her second set 7-5.
Menendez, Andrea Medal, Kendal Hadden, Callie Stanfield, and Saito also all took part in the single matches, but they all fell short as Montevallo (4-6, 2-3) got the victory.
West Georgia will be back in action at home Tuesday March 26th at Sunset Hills Country Club at 2:00 PM
