UWG to Host Seven Home Football Games in Inaugural Division I Season 

CARROLLTON, Ga. - Flyovers, fly-ins, fireworks and much more will usher in the Division I football era at the University of West Georgia, as the Wolves will host seven home games in the 2024 season. 

UWG Athletics released its theme and promotional schedule for the 2024 home football season this week. The Wolves' seven-game home slate begins on RA-LIN Field in University Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. with a non-conference matchup against Samford. 
 
Season ticket packages are still available for as low as $12 per game and will provide access to all seven home contests. Section sponsorships and group seating are also available, allowing for groups of 10-500. Current UWG students get into all Wolves athletic contests for free, with a valid 917 number. Students download their season pass to all athletic contests through the Wolves Event Store, or contact mcooke@westga.edu. For UWG Football, students are encouraged to sit in the Student Section directly behind the visiting team. 

In addition to the promotional schedule, UWG will offer a pre-game entertainment option for fans attending games at University Stadium. The Wolf Walk, The Hill Student Zone Tailgate and the Wolves Tailgate lot will provide fans with two hours of live entertainment, food vendors and tailgating space to enjoy gameday activities.
