Williams-Dryden Named ASUN Player of the Week

CARROLLTON, Ga. - For the second time this season and the third time in his career, forward Shelton Williams-Dryden was voted ASUN Player of the Week following a highlight performance against the No. 23 Georgia Bulldogs last Monday (Dec. 22).

In Athens, Williams-Dryden led the Wolves with 23 points, nine rebounds and four steals while shooting 53 percent from the field. This marked the Milwaukee native's fourth 20-point performance of the season.

With Lipscomb taking on Cincinnati and Queens facing Auburn today to wrap up non-conference play for all ASUN teams, the forward ranks second in rebounds (8.9 rpg), third in points (17.5 ppg), seventh in steals (1.5 spg) and 10th in field goal percentage (45 percent) in the league.

Williams-Dryden and the Wolves tip off conference play this Thursday (Jan. 1) at 7 p.m. against the Bellarmine Knights. Tickets can be purchased here.
