CARROLLTON, Ga.- University of West Georgia Head Coach
Ryan Bailey has announced the addition of
Cameron Isenhour to the Wolves' coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season.
"I am enthused about Coach Isenhour coming on board with us. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Once we had our face-to-face interview I decided pretty quickly that he was the coach we needed. I am excited to begin our collaboration and confident he will bring a lot of added value to the UWG Cross-Country and Track programs," said Bailey.
Isenhour joins West Georgia following a successful three-year tenure at Brevard College, where he most recently served as Head Cross Country Coach and Associate Head Track & Field Coach. During his time with the Tornados, Isenhour helped elevate both the cross country and track and field programs while taking on responsibilities ranging from recruiting and athlete development to budgeting, compliance, scheduling, and roster management.
In his most recent season, Isenhour helped guide the Brevard men's indoor track and field team to its highest conference finish in school history, earning runner-up honors at the 2026 USA South Conference Championships. The program also produced a pair of USA South Conference record performances, nine conference meet record performances, four USTFCCCA All-South Region honors, 11 USA South All-Conference selections and nine NCAA-era school records.
The men's outdoor program also enjoyed a strong 2026 campaign, scoring 129 points at the USA South Conference Championships for the highest NCAA-era conference point total in school history.
On the women's side, Isenhour coached multiple conference champions, including athletes who captured USA South titles in the 800-meter run, mile run, and long jump during the indoor season.Â
With Isenhour serving as the men's and women's cross country coach, lowering the team's top-five conference average from 30:20 to 28:47 from 2025 to 2026. He also coached NCAA Division III South Region and USA South All-Conference performers on the women's side.
Before arriving at Brevard, Isenhour served as Head Cross Country & Track & Field Coach at Northwood High School from 2019-23. During that span, his programs produced 46 school records, 77 All-Conference honors, 20 conference champions, 45 regional honors, 12 All-State honors and seven individual and relay state championships.
Isenhour also spent time as an assistant track and field coach at Belmont Abbey College in 2019 and previously served as Head Track & Field Coach at Gray Stone Day School, where his athletes accumulated 38 school records, 45 All-Conference honors, 35 conference champions, 28 regional honors and 10 All-State honors.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Isenhour earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Studies. He holds multiple USA Track & Field and NFHS certifications, including USATF Level III Coach certification in Endurance and USATF Cross Country Specialist certification.
With a proven record of recruiting, athlete development and program building at many levels, Isenhour brings extensive experience to Bailey's staff as the Wolves prepare for the 2026 season.Â
