2010 - Champion Award
2011 - Preseason All-GSC

2011
•  Played in all ten games for the Wolves' recording a total of 48 tackles.
•  Had a total of three tackles for loss.
•  Recovered fumbles against Arkansas-Monticello on September 24 and against Harding on October 8.

2010
•  Pickett played in all 10 games in his redshirt sophomore season, collecting 25 tackles, including 13 solo.
•  Was constantly in the backfield, picking up six tackles for loss, including a sack.
•  Top game came against Harding on regional television, when he had five tackles in the Wolves' comeback victory.
•  Had one of the biggest plays of the game against Concordia, picking up a fumble in the final minute of the game and rumbling 24 yards to the five yard line to seal the Wolves' victory.
•  Also had a blocked kick in that game.

2009
•Had 18 tackles, including three for loss, during brief action in 2009

2008
•Was named team’s defensive MVP and top lineman honors as a freshman after making 65 stops, including 43 solos as a freshman.

Overview
Very talented, veteran player returning to Wolves’ defensive unit for 2012 campaign … received a medical redshirt following season-ending injury early in 2009 season

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a standout for Coach Scott Newman’s program at Shaw High in Columbus … had a monster senior season for Raiders with 114 tackles, 21 sacks and 32 tackles for loss … was both an all-state and all-region performer … an extremely gifted athlete who was also all-region in both wrestling and track … placed among state’s best in the discus and shot put, and was a three-time state qualifier in wrestling.

Born March 21, 1990 … son of Carolyn Clay and Juan Pickett, Sr. … superlative student; two-time member of GSC Academic Honor Roll …  is a Criminology major with designs on a career in football or as a lawyer
