2010
Started in all 10 games for the Wolves in 2010 and was the third leading tackler on the team with 62 stops, including 38 solo...18th in the Gulf South Conference in tackles...His top two performances came on the biggest stage, as he opened the year with 14 tackles against eventual NCAA playoff participant Wingate on August 28...tallied 10 tackles against Delta State on October 23, a team that reached the Division II National Championship game...had one tackle for loss, an interception and two pass breakups...returned a blocked field goal 80 yards for a touchdown at Arkansas Monticello on October 16.

Talented defender readying for first action in Wolves’ secondary this fall … was a redshirt in 2009 after coming to West Georgia following two years at Wittenberg (Ohio) University.

AT WITTENBERG: Was a top performer for Coach Joe Fincham’s Tigers … was a first team All-NCAC selection at safety … made 65 tackles, including five for loss and a QB sack … also forced four fumbles and had a pass interception … also played two years of baseball at Wittenberg.

HIGH SCHOOL
Enjoyed a top prep career for Coach Bradley Warren at Central Gwinnett High in suburban Atlanta … helped Black Knights to playoff appearances during junior and senior seasons.

PERSONAL: Born October 25, 1989 … son of Sonia Hernandez … has ambition for a career in football … majoring in Business Management.
