2012 - Junior Season
Played in 30 matches for the Wolves as a junior with 112 sets played ... Led the GSC in hitting percentage at .344 and blocks at 0.89 blocks per game on the season ... averaged 2.36 kills per game, good for 20th in the league ... had at least 10 kills in a match 14 times on the year ... had 264 kills with a .342 hitting percentage and 103 blocks ... her 103 blocks were the most in a single season in the Rally Scoring 25-PT era at UWG and puts her at fourth all-time in blocks in that career list ... had a season and UWG career-high 16 kills twice as a junior; first against Tiffin on September 1 and again at West Alabama on October 28 ... Introduced herself to the program against Ouachita Baptist on August 31 with 13 kills in 23 attempts for a .348 hitting percentage ... had at least seven blocks in a match five times, including a season-high nine against North Alabama on November 10 ... had three solo blocks in that game, one of three times she had her career high in that category ... also had three solo blocks against West Alabama on October 28, on September 30 against Christian Brothers and against Alabama-Huntsville at the GSC tournament on November 16.

Prior to UWG
Bemis comes to UWG after a standout career at Wallace State, where she is coming off of an All-American season ... In 2011, she was fifth in NJCAA Division I hitting percentage and led her conference in kills with 459 ... As a freshman, she had 308 kills and was third in hitting percentage and eighth in blocks ... Bemis was named First Team All-Region as both a freshman and a sophomore while leading her squad to back-to-back ACCC State Championships and a 95-8 record combined.

Overview
She prepped at Parkway Christian Academy in Birmingham, earning All-State honors as a junior and as a senior ... In her final high school season, Bemis was named All-Northeast Player of the Year as well as All-Metro by the Birmingham News ... In addition to her accolades on the court, she is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and plans to major in Elementary Education ... She is the daughter of Rick and Judy Bemis.
