Rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and a two-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.com ... was a two-way standout as a tight end and defensive end ... all-region and all-county honoree ... as a senior, caught five passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns on offense while amassing 50 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble, an interception that he returned 31 yards for a score, two pass breakups and a blocked kick on defense ... helped lead his team to a 13-2 overall record and berth in 2013 Georgia AAAA state championship game during final prep season ... hauled in 30 receptions for 356 yards and three touchdowns as a junior in 2012 ... earned first-team all-area honors as a junior and senior ... was a two-time Football University youth all-American ... coached by Rayvan Teague ...
