Anderson is 5-9, 175 pounds, and a product of New Hempstead High School in his hometown of Savannah. 

2020-21
Played in 21 games with 20 starts as a senior at UWG…averaged 8.2 points per game while shooting 37% from the arc…led the team in steals with 41 and also led the team in assists with 101…Anderson ranked 3^rd in the GSC in assists and 2^nd in the GSC in assist/turnover ratio.

2019-20
Started in all 28 games as a junior with the Wolves in the 2019-20 season ... led the Gulf South Conference with 5.4 assists per game on the year ... scored 11.4 points per game, hitting 32 percent from three-point range ... averaged 34.4 minutes per game ... top individual game came in a 25-point outburst against Queens (NC) ... scored in double-figures 15 times on the year ... had 24 points and nine assists against Valdosta State on January 16 ... picked up 11 assists against Montevallo on December 17, 2019 ... scored 12 points and dished out 12 assists against Union on January 23 ... he was ninth in the league in assist-turnover ration with 1.9 ... had 46 total steals on the year, averaging 1.5 per game, which was good for sixth in the league ... .

“Oronte is very quick, a water bug,” says Moore of his newest signee. Despite his size, Moore says his newest Wolf brings explosiveness to the UWG attack, “He has the ability to score at all three levels. Oronte has the ability to be a factor for us this season.”

Anderson posted impressive numbers a year ago at Gordon State. He led the Highlanders in both scoring (13.9 ppg) and in assists with 6.6 per contest. Anderson shot better than 45% from the field, and hit 40.4% (44-109) from three-point. Also, he was excellent at the free throw line, hitting better than 82% from the charity stripe.
