Outstanding outfielder returning for his senior season with the Wolves in 2019 ... transferred to West Georgia as a junior in 2018 after two seasons at Chattahoochee Valley Community College ... As a freshman in 2016 at CVCC, Poskey hit .348 in 15 games played ... he had eight hits in 31 at-bats and was listed as a catcher ... in his sophomore season, Poskey hit .333, playing in 18 games for CVCC ... prepped at Columbus High School in Columbus, Ga. ... played in the 2014 Georgia Dugout Club All-State game ... 

2018
As a junior at West Georgia in 2018, Poskey played in 39 games for the Wolves with 33 starts ... the bulk of his starts came in left field, and he had 25 hits in 102 at-bats ... he had four extra-base hits on the year, including a home run and a triple, and he was tied for the team lead with 22 walks ... he started the season with a bang in a doubleheader against Augusta, going 5-for-9 with four runs scored and six RBI on opening day.
