Overview
Oustanding linebacker returning to the UWG roster in 2018 ... played at Hinds Community College for two seasons before coming to UWG in 2016 ... Spent the 2014 season with the Hinds Community College football program under Gene Murphy… Had a spectacular rookie season as a strong safety/linebacker hybrid in which he finished with 51 tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one interception ... had 39 tackles in his sophomore season in 2015 ... as a junior with West Georgia in 2016, Burns had 21 tackles in 11 games played ... had a UWG career-high five tackles against West Alabama on October 15, 2016.

Played in all 12 games for the Wolves... had a total of 49 tackles, 33 solo tackles, and 2.5 tackles for loss... also had one interception and a forced fumble
