Overview
Outstanding running back prospect returning with the Wolves for the 2019 season ... prepped under coach Jason Carrera at Meadowcreek High School in talent-rich Gwinnett County ... led the Mustangs to a 7-4 record and a trip to the first round of the GHSA Playoffs as a senior in 2017 ... carried the ball 254 times for 2,120 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior in 2017 ... rushed for 100 yards in eight separate games ... also had one receiving touchdown and one kickoff return for a touchdown ... named the Class AAAAAAA Player of the Year for the state

2019
Through the first two games of the season, Williams leads the Gulf South Conference in rushing with 132 yards per game and four touchdowns ... he has had three scores from four yards or less, but his fourth score came from 92 yards against Limestone on September 15 ... it was just the fourth 90-yard play in school history and propelled Williams to 218 yards and two touchdowns in the game ... the 218-yard performance was the fifth-most of any back in school history, tied with Stevie Young, who had 218 against Mississippi College in 1985.
