Senior forward Shelton Williams-Dryden capped off his West Georgia career becoming the first Wolf in UWG men’s basketball history to earn First Team All ASUN.
Starting in all 32 games, Williams-Dryden led the team and ranked second in the ASUN in rebounds per game (9.1 RPG), ranked fourth in ASUN in points per game (20.7 PPG), ranked seventh in the ASUN in field goal percentage (.501) and he led the ASUN with 13 double-doubles this season.
He also boasts that he is 1-of-4 Mid-Major players to win Lute Olson National Player of the Week honors and was the only player in the conference to earn ASUN Player of the Week three times (Nov. 24, Dec. 29 and Jan. 5).
Williams-Dryden finished his career becoming the 15th player in school history to score 1000 points. In UWG history, the forward finished his career ranking fifth in field goals made (481 FGM), sixth in scoring (1207 points), and eighth in career rebounding (521 rebounds). He also placed seventh in single season points (661) this year.
