The Atlantic Sun Conference announced on Monday afternoon that West Georgia third baseman Patrick McCullough was selected Third Team All-ASUN.

The infielder from Grapevine, Texas, delivered one of the most impressive performances by any player in the conference this season. Starting in all 54 games, McCullough wrapped up the year leading the ASUN in batting average (.415) and hits (93), while ranking third in the league in doubles (17), seventh in OPS (1.049), eighth in slugging (.603) and ninth in on-base percentage (.446). These figures rank the West Georgia Wolf second nationally in hits and sixth in batting average. McCullough also boasts that he finished the year reaching base in 35 straight games, fueled by a 17-game hitting streak. He also tallied 27 multi-hit games.

The senior finished his UWG career ranking tied for fifth in school history for career doubles (35). McCullough joins Jack Witmer as the second Wolf in UWG baseball history to earn Third Team All-ASUN honors.
