“Connor is a guy we targeted very early on this summer. The more we followed him around and saw his success the more we pushed to get him here. Played for a great travel ball team in the Atlanta Blue Jays, so you know he will be coached up when he shows up on campus. He comes a from rich baseball tradition in Tift County where he will really help him team this upcoming spring. Connor has plus velocity for his age but his ability to compete and throw strikes with multiple pitches is something we know will play right away here. He will make an immediate impact for us out of the bullpen as a freshman with his mindset and ability on the mound.”
