2010: Sure-handed infielder coming to the Wolves from the junior college ranks . . . Has a chance to contribute immediately to the Wolves with his glove and bat.

At Chattahoochee Valley: Played two seasons under the leadership of coach Adam Thomas . . . Team Golden Glove Award Recipient in 2008 and 2009 . . . Hit .336 with six homeruns and 39 runs batted in for the Pirates in 2009.

High School: Prepped at Hardaway High School for coach Tracey Powell . . . Received the Hardaway Academic/Athletic Award in 2006.

Personal: Son of Byron and Kelly Whitehead . . . Majoring in Business Administration . . . Enjoys playing the drums and guitar at church . . . Favorite non-baseball sport is golf . . . Would spend his first million by giving some to his church . . . Chose UWG because of the great athletic program.
