Biography

Overview
Played for two seasons at Faulkner State in Alabama. Logged 40 games as a sophomore in 2013 with a .293 batting average. Had a .408 on-base percentage, collecting 23 walks while striking out just 11 times. Had nine doubles and 20 RBI on the year, helping Faulkner to a 40-11 record, including 27-3 in conference play. Listed in the top-5 in seven career categories at Spanish Fort High School. Batted .374 with 13 doubles, 29 RBI and 13 stolen bases as a junior in high school, leading his team to the State Class 5A championship. Had a career batting average of .356 in high school, with 54 RBI, 18 doubles and 92 runs scored. Played in the North/South All-Star game for Alabama after his junior season. Named All-State Honorable Mention, First Team All-Metro as a senior. Named All-County in his final three years of high school.
