2018
Made the transition as a sophomore to full-time on the mound ... had a solid season largely as a middle reliever in conference games and as a starter in midweek games and a few late-season GSC games ... pitched in 18 games with five starts ... had a 6-2 record on the year with a 3.88 ERA ... had 34 strikeouts in 46.1 innings with one save ... picked up his first victory against Albany State on February 18 after striking out two in two innings of work against the Golden Rams ... had three-straight victories in Gulf South Conference play in April ... the first came against Valdosta State when he worked 2.1 scoreless innings on April 14 ... his next win came in a complete game victory over Lee on April 20, when he worked seven innings, striking out three and allowing two runs ... his top outing was the final of that three-game winning streak, when Garner worked six innings against Auburn-Montgomery on April 27, striking out seven and allowing two runs in a 6-2 UWG victory.

Saw action in 18 games as a position player, and made nine appearances on the mound, including four starts ... was 2-for-25 on the season, hitting .080 ... was 2-2 on the mound, amassing 28.1 innings on the year ... struck out 15 batters on the season ... allowed 13 earned runs, for a 4.13 ERA ... best outing was a 5.2 inning performance allowing two hits with two runs, one earned and a win
