Started in 27 of his 35 appearances, mostly at second base… Recorded 21 hits, 16 RBIs, 15 runs, seven doubles and four homers... Had two multi-hit games… Hit a grandslam in the Wolves win over Georgia State (March 18)…

Appeared in 16 games with five starts

2023
Started 20 games and made 28 appearances as a true freshman... Had a .353 on-base percentage and drew 15 walks.

“Tyler is a super athletic infielder who checks all the boxes for us when looking at a high school position player.  He has the ability to pretty much play anywhere on the field which we always value here at West Georgia. He was another high school player we kept a close eyes on all summer and follow him while playing with one of the best summer ball programs, the Georgia Jackets. Tyler, gives us a left handed bat that we were looking to add to the program, he has a great feel for the game and plays extremely hard. It will be a lot of fun to watch Tyler continue to grow and develop over the next four seasons here. Anytime you can add pure athletic ability with high baseball skill you are excited to sign a player like Tyler early on.”
