Returning for his senior campaign in 2013, Austin Trainor provides leadership and a strong arm to the UWG backfield ... will be in the mix in the fall for the starting role ... born July 10, 1991 ... son of Raymond and Theresa Trainor ... Majoring in Criminology.

2012
Played in seven games as a junior, with his season cut short in the middle due to injury ... completed 78-of-140 passes on the year for 825 yards and two touchdowns ... also rushed 43 times for 154 yards and four touchdowns on the season ... his best game throwing came against Point on September 1, when he was 11-for-15 (73%) for 151 yards and a touchdown ... his best game in passing yards came against Miles, when he was 24-for-36 for 216 yards ... his top rushing game was against Point, when he rushed four times for 60 yards and a touchdown, including the season-high single rush for the team of 44 yards ... that was also the second-longest rushing play in University Stadium history ... against Tusculum on September 8, he rushed 10 times for 44 yards and two touchdowns ... his fourth score came in the final game of the year at Midwestern State.

Completed 51-of-109 passes in 2010 with two touchdowns ... passed for 580 yards in seven games ... played in six games in 2011 ... completed 65-of-130 passes for 877 yards and five touchdowns.

High School
Trainor lettered in football at North Florida Christian in Tallahassee, Fla., where he finished third in the National Top Gun Tournament his senior season. Also, he graduated with honors with a 3.0 GPA... In his junior season, he led his team to the second round of the playoffs with four TDs in an opening round victory.
