Barry Brown joined the UWG football staff as tight ends coach in 2024. 

Brown previously worked on the same staff as head coach Joel Taylor at Mercer as an offensive analyst as the assistant tight ends coach.

Prior to Mercer, Brown spent one season at Carson Newman working as a graduate assistant with the offensive line. Brown began his coaching career at the high school level, spending time as an assistant at Dublin High School for two years as the receivers coach.
