The 2025 season will mark the first in Carrollton for assistant defensive line coach Jeremiah Taylor.
Taylor comes to Carrollton after spending the 2024 season on staff at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, where he coached the running backs.
In 2023, Taylor coached the running backs at McKendree in Lebanon, Illinois, and the 2022 season saw Taylor coaching the running backs at Virginia-Lynchburg.
His move to Carrollton also puts him back on the defensive side of the ball, where he last coached in 2021 as the defensive line coach at Fort Scott Community College.Â
A JUCO product himself, Taylor began his college football career at Yuba College in California and finished at former GSC foe Henderson State in Arkansas.
Following his playing career, Taylor began coaching at the prep level, starting at Arkadelphia High School where he coached from 2015 to 2020 which includes a 2017 State Championship.
Taylor earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2012.
