KJ Parmer

K.J. Parmer

When KJ Parmer finished his playing days, he didn't go far to begin his coaching career. In fact, Parmer simply traded in his cleats and helmet for a clip board and a whistle, and never left Carrollton.

A UWG alum, Parmer played in the red and the blue from 2015-2018, and then was a graduate assistant for David Dean and the Wolves. Prior to the 2022 season, Parmer was hired full time as UWG's wide receivers coach. In 2021, Parmer coached the wide outs as a graduate assistant, helping Mechane Slade earn All-America honors while setting a UWG single-season reception record with 78 catches.

As a player, Parmer himself was a receiver and also returned punts for the Wolves. Parmer caught 50 passes in his career for 561 yards. On special teams, Parmer registered 41 punt returns for a total of 498 yards, returning one for a touchdown. Parmer was a member of UWG's Super Region 2 title team in 2015, and was a part of 38 wins over four seasons as a Wolf.

Originally from Lawrenceville, Parmer earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from UWG in 2018 and a Master’s in Business Administration in 2021.
