A new face on the UWG coaching staff in 2022 is Keon Cezar.
Cezar is in his first season in Carrollton, and as a graduate assistant with the UWG football program, he assists with coaching the defensive line.
Prior to coming to Carrollton, Cezar spent the 2022 spring season as the assistant defensive line coach at Coffeyville Community College. He spent the fall 2021 season as a strength and condition intern and defensive line assistant at South Carolina State. While there, he was part of the 2021 squad that captured the HBCU National Championship.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Cezar was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter at Mars Hill University.
At West Georgia, Cezar is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Management.
