Nhial was a standout as a 2016 senior at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Va. Last season he attended and played at Cheshire Academy, a Virginia prep school ... Nhial's high school resume is impressive. He was the Wakefield team captain as he claimed 2016 Conference 13 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors. He was All-Region 5-A First Team, and a second team all-state selection. Also, Nhial was an honorable mention All-Metro selection for the Washington, D.C. area.
