Overview
A native of Cote d'Ivoire (Africa) he was a four year starter for Lanier County High School in Lakeland, GA. Coached by Clay Clark, Kone was a second team All-State selection as a sophmore and a First Team All state selection as a senior. In an injury shortened season he averaged 9.1 points per game and 4.7 assists.

Saw limited action in 18 games as a true freshman ... saw his most time against West Florida on February 16, scoring seven points on the night.
