Overview
A guard from Miami, Fla., Smith comes to the Wolves as a Division I transfer from the University of San Francisco. He appeared in 19 games for the Dons a year ago, averaging 3.2 points per game. Smith hit on 14-of-32 three-points, a 43.7% mark. Smith scored 12 points twice for the Dons as a sophomore, against Sacramento State and San Francisco State. Smith prepped at a basketball factory in Miami Christian in his hometown of Miami, Fla. There he had a significant amount of success, averaging 22.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists as a senior, helping the Victors to the Florida 2A state championship with a 71-44 victory over Orlando Agape Christian. With that success, he was named Dade County's Player of the Year and was also selected as Florida's Dairy Farmers Class 2A Player of the Year. In addition, he was one of nine finalists for Florida's Mr. Basketball award in 2015.

Introduced himself to the West Georgia faithful with 27 points and nine rebounds in his first game in a UWG uniform ... played in 27 games totaling 625 points, 39 assists and 31 steals for the Wolves ... lead the Gulf South averaging 23.1 points per game and was in the top 10 in the league with 8.6 rebounds per game ...  he clinched 8 double-doubles in points and rebounds ... also in 18 out of the 27 games played he scored 20 or more points with a high of 40 against Shorter on February 14, 2018 ... made the First Team All GSC and Second Team All-South Region
