Biography
Overview
Magbegor averaged 15.1 points and 12.1 rebounds per game for the Coburg Giants team in Australia. He captured bronze and silver medals at the Ivor Burge and U20 national championships in 2016 and 2017. Beyond basketball, Magbegor’s resume includes strong ties to another sport: Australian Rules football. Magbegor has been a “ruckman” for the Calder Cannons football team, playing in 22 TAC cup matches for the Calder team over the past two seasons. He averaged 22 hit-outs, one mark and three tackles per game. He had opportunities to continue football at the professional level, but instead chose to accept the offer to attend and play basketball at UWG.
