Shannon Plese joined the UWG softball staff for her first season in 2020. Plese completed her eligibility at Western Kentucky where she was a Second Team All-GSC selection, starting all 50 games and hitting .342.
Prior to her season at WKU, Plese spent time at Chattanooga State and South Carolina. Plese made 34 appearances as a junior at Carolina, and was a two-time NJCAA All-American at Chattanooga State, earning First Team honors as a freshman and Second Team honors as a sophomore.
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Plese will be pursuing her Master's degree while coaching at West Georgia.
