Appeared in 42 games and made 19 starts as a Sophomore... Pitched in 29 games and made 11 starts... She had 42 strikeouts and pitched to a 4.61 ERA...  As a hitter she batted a .197 on the year... Produced two doubles, one triple, and one home run... Also tallied 12 RBIs on the season...

Played the 2024 season at App State where she pitched in seven games as a freshman ... Prepped at Northshore High School in Slidell, La., where she experienced a stellar career in both the circle and at the plate ... In 2022 alone, she struck out 220 batters over 161 innings and pitched to an ERA of 1.909 ... For her career, she would amass an impressive 355 strikeouts ... As a hitter, Samuel batted above .450 all four years of her career, while also hitting 26 home runs and driving in 112 runs ... She was twice named the District MVP, a 5A all-district team member and was twice named to the all-metro team and the all-state Tammany Parrish team, where she was named both the hitter of the year and pitcher of the year
