Overview
Newcomer to the program in 2020 ... played at nearby Central High School ... finished her first collegiate season with a 4-8 record overall on the year, a 5-7 record in doubles play, and a 2-4 record against GSC opponents ... her first win came in No. 4 singles against Point, where she won 6-3, 6-2 ... she has played in five matches at No. 4 singles with a 3-2 record and four matches at No. 3 singles with a 1-3 record ... her first GSC victory was a dramatic one in No. 4 singles against Lee on March 5 ... She trailed 1-0 in the match and came back to win 7-5 in the second set and 10-5 in the third ... she has played No. 1 and No. 2 doubles on the year and has an overall record of 5-4 ... she is 3-2 in No. 2 doubles and 2-2 in the No. 1 flight ... her first GSC doubles win was against GSC opponent Christian Brothers in No. 2 doubles, where she and partner Kennedy Lewis won 6-4 on February 21.
Also a solid student, Jones was named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete after the season.
