Head coach Jon Moseley didn't need to go far for an addition to his staff for the fall of 2019, as he added a talented and experienced former player to joining the UWG Coaching staff for the 2019 volleyball season.  Anna Metzler played collegiately at Dalton State College for three seasons before transferring to West Georgia to play in the fall of 2018. She worked mostly as a libero last year as a senior for the Wolves.

Prior to UWG

Metzler earned SSAC All-Freshman Team in 2014 ... named Second Team All-Conference as a junior in 2016, and was named to the SSAC Champions of Character Team ... Earned All-Academic Team honors in 2015 and 2016, and was named as the FSG Bank Scholar in 2015 ... Named as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar in 2016 and earned honors at the Keiser University Volleyfest All-Tournament team ... earned academic distinction as a Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society member and graduated from Dalton State Magna Cum Laude in the spring ... she will be a graduate student in search of an MBA in the classroom at UWG and a senior on the floor ... prepped at both Colegio Regina Pacis in Brazil for her first three years of high school, then finished her high school career at Montverde Academy in Florida ... led her team to the Regional and State Championship as a sophomore, then returned for a regional championship as a junior and a state runner-up spot ... daughter of Carlos Renato Marzola de Andrade and Claudia Metzler de Andrade.
