Antreal Allen, no stranger to college football in the Peach State, came to West Georgia to be the Wolves’ cornerbacks coach and defensive passing game coordinator ahead of the 2025 season.
Allen, who brings experience at multiple levels of college football, most recently coached under Dell McGee at Georgia State where he coached the cornerbacks in 2023 and 2024.
Prior to his time coaching corners at Georgia State, Allen coached the safeties in 2022, helping the Panthers’ defense grab 13 interceptions en route to a school-record 25 total turnovers which ranked 11th in the country.
In the summer of 2022, Allen was chosen for an NFL Bill Walsh Diversity Fellowship with the Atlanta Falcons.
Allen also spent time at former GSC rival Shorter, spending two seasons coaching defensive backs and special teams for the Hawks in 2020 and 2021.
Originally from Auburn, Alabama, Allen lettered four years at Georgia State playing corner and safety. As a senior in 2017, Allen started in the Panther’s very first bowl victory, and anchored a defense that set a program record for fewest points allowed per game.He earned a degree in computer information systems from Georgia State in 2018, and earned multiple academic honors during his time at GSU, including Dean's List, Athletic Director's Honor Roll, Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List and Sun Belt Conference Honor Roll.
Following graduation, Allen began his coaching career at his alma mater, coaching in a quality control role in 2018 and then as a graduate assistant in 2019.
