Elizabeth Herrin has been a member of the UWG Athletics staff since 2019, and assumed the role of Athletics Chief of Staff in August of 2026.
Herrin, a two-time UWG alumna, has been a member of the Athletics staff since 2019 and held the title of Assistant Athletics Director for Annual Initiatives from 2023 until her appointment to Chief of Staff.
As Chief of Staff, Herrin will work closely with the senior leadership team, coaches, service team units, and campus partners to help connect work across multiple functional areas. She will be also responsible for tracking key NCAA Division I transition priorities, as well as coordinating special projects.
In her previous role, she oversaw the core operations of most annual fund initiatives within the Department of Athletics. She focused on both renewing and acquiring donors as well as stewardship and engagement events.
Initially, Herrin joined the staff as an administrative assistant for football and has also held the title of Coordinator of Competitive Excellence in her time on campus.
Herrin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Business Management where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the International Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma. In 2022, Herrin completed her Masters of Business Administration from UWG.
Prior to coming to work at UWG, she was the Marketing and Human Resources Manager at Across Healthcare in Carrollton.
A native of Tallapoosa, she is married to Stuart Herrin. They are active members at Roopville Road Baptist Church where she serves in The Rock Student ministries as a life group leader to high school girls.
