Box Score Carrollton, GA - The Valdosta State Blazers handed a tough loss to the West Georgia Wolves on Saturday afternoon, as the Wolves fell by a 42-7 count at University Stadium on Homecoming.
The Blazers grabbed the momentum early, as VSU had a successful onside kick on the opening kickoff. The UWG defense rose to the occasion, holding Valdosta State to a three-and-out, giving the ball to the offense.

Austin Trainor# led the Wolves on a march that included four first downs, but the UWG offense stalled at the VSU 27. The Wolves took a penalty and elected to punt. #

After the two teams traded punts. the Blazers took over at their own 19. VSU drove down the field, scoring on a pass from
