Carrollton, GA - The biggest game in the history of University Stadium looms this weekend, as the #2 West Georgia Wolves take on #13 North Alabama in a battle of two teams who sit atop the Gulf South Conference and likely the region standings currently. Kickoff is set Saturday for 2:00 p.m. at University Stadium.

- The Wolves come into the game with a 7-0 record on the year and a 3-0 record in Gulf South Conference play. West Georgia has been dominant throughout the season, with West Alabama's 32-14 score being the team that finished a game closer to the Wolves than any other.
- West Georgia features one of the top defenses in the nation, as the Wolves are among the top-10 in Division II in six different categories this season. If you extend that to the top-20, Will Hall's defense is in eight different categories nationally.
- Offensively, the Wolves are led by senior quarterback
Dallas Dickey, who has multiple weapons at his disposal, as West Georgia features a balanced offensive approached that has beaten teams both on the ground and in the air this year.
- Junior Lamarcus Franks had the Wolves' biggest rushing game of the season against Valdosta State two weeks ago, busting free from 172 yards on 17 carries. The 5-8, 175-pound running back had no lost yardage against VSU. It was the third 100-yard game on the year for a UWG back, with the other two going to redshirt freshman
Aares McCall in the first two games of the year.
- Junior defensive ends
Alex Armah and
Dylan Donahue have been in a see-saw battle for the team lead in sacks all season. Two weeks ago, Donahue had two sacks against Valdosta State and took the team lead with six, but last week against Delta State, Armah had two and is now the team leader with seven.

Dallas Dickey has been having a banner year at quarterback in his senior season, but two weeks ago against Valdosta State, he had one of his best days under center. The Carrollton native was 16-for-23 for 237 yards, his second-best yardage total at UWG. It was his seventh career game with 200 yards or more, with his best game coming last year against Florida Tech.
- Qa Walker has been the big-play threat for the Wolves throughout the season, as he has moved to the top spot nationally in yards per reception, averaging 25 yards per catch. He had a 21-yard touchdown reception last week against Delta State.
- Linebacker
Marion Chapman has been the top tackler for the Wolves this season, with 39 tackles on the year total. He has had at least six tackles in four of the Wolves' games this season.
