Carrollton, GA - On Wednesday, January 11, the 2016-17 UWG cheerleading squads will host their annual Friends and Family Night in preparation for the upcoming UCA Nationals. Doors at The Coliseum open ay 7:00 p.m. with the performances set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

The seven-time UCA National Champion All-Girl UWG Cheerleading Squad is looking to return to their winning ways at this year's UCA National Championship. The team is chasing their eighth title since 2004. The All-Girl Squad will be competing in Division I. The Coed squad is hoping to repeat as champions in 2017. They won their 12^th Coed title at the UCA Nationals in 2016.

The Friends and Family event gives fans and family a chance to see the routine and send the team off as the squads make their final preparations for Nationals. This is a great opportunity to watch and show your support for the 2016-17 cheerleading squads.

There is no cost to attend the event. The two squads will be leaving this Friday for Orlando. Come and wish them luck as they hope to bring two more national championships back to Carrollton.
