CARROLLTON, Ga. - Good things are brewing at the University of West Georgia – especially for Wolves fans in University Stadium this fall.
 
UWG Athletics will debut the University Stadium Beer Garden on Touchdown Plaza on the northwest corner of the stadium at its home opener against Morehouse on Saturday, Sept. 11, in partnership with Atlanta's Finest Catering. 
 
The space will open 90 minutes before kickoff of each of the five home games UWG football will host this season, remaining open until the end of the game's third quarter. Entrance to the area is free with a ticket to the game, but guests must be 21 years of age or older.
 
The garden will feature a variety of craft beers for purchase where fans can watch the game. There will also be an area for outdoor games, including cornhole, for fans to enjoy.
