CLEVELAND, Tenn. - It was a tough Saturday for the West Georgia Wolves volleyball team, as the Wolves dropped a 3-0 decision to the Lee Flames at Walker Arena.

The Wolves (9-10, 2-5 GSC) lost a heartbreaking, marathon set in the opener, falling 28-26. UWG erased an early deficit and built a 22-18 lead before Lee (4-14, 2-4 GSC) tied things up with a 4-0 run. UWG got the lead back and had set point at 25-24 but lee would win three of the next four to win the set.

Despite an early 13-7 lead, the Wolves fell 25-20 in the second set as UWG hit .093 for the set and fell down 2-0 in the match.

Lee rode the momentum of the 2-0 lead to a 25-22 victory in the decisive third set, although the Wolves had their best set offensively, putting down 13 kills at a .216 clip.

Zoë LaBreche was one kill off of a season-high with 14 kills while hitting .379 on 29 total attacks. Senior Emilee Harris had eight kills in the loss.

Autumn Mayes had 24 assists and led defensively with 16 digs while Sydney Blackmon had 14 and Isabela Segoviano had 10.

UWG is back in action on Tuesday, October 4th hosting Shorter at The Coliseum with a 6 p.m. first serve.
