CARROLLTON, Ga. - History happened on Saturday evening on RA-LIN Field at University Stadium, and at the forefront of that history was junior wide receiver Terrill Cole, who was named the Scott Evans Automotive Sales Group Player of the Game for the 49-14 victory over Shorter.

Cole caught everything that came his way on Saturday evening, leading the Wolves with eight receptions for 117 yards on the game. That was not the historical part of the evening, as Cole became the 17th player in school history to surpass 1,000 yards for a career in the first half. It was his second 100-yard game at UWG, his top receiving game in the 2022 season, and the most single-game receptions that Cole has had in his two-year career at West Georgia.

For the season, Cole is the leading receiver for the Wolves with 28 receptions for 384 yards four touchdowns. He had 48 catches for 683 yards and two touchdowns in the 2021 season, giving him 76 career receptions for 1,067 yards and six touchdowns.
