ESTERO, Fla. - Play concluded at the West Bay Invitational at the West Bay Club on Tuesday with the UWG men's golf team to shoot 291 in the final round to finish 15th.
Reid Rockett paced the Wolves on the week, using a final round 73 to finish in 65th place. Rockett made four birdies and an eagle in his final round.
Thomas Romani bounced back after a tough Monday with an even-par round of 72, making five birdies to post a 74th place finish. Just behind him was Dallas Inch who shot a final round 77 and tied for 77th.
In the final round, Luke Able shot 85 and finished 85th.
For the second straight round, JP Groat led the Wolves with a three-under 69. The freshman however did not play the opening round of the tournament, therefore finishing 87th.
Tournament host FGCU won the event by one stroke over Lipscomb.
The Wolves are back in action next week at the Elon Phoenix Invitational in Burlington, North Carolina.
