CARROLLTON, Ga. - Three UWG football assistants have been named participants in the 2026 Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship.
Outside linebackers coach Adonis Davis, wide receivers coach Tyus Alcorn, and offensive line and offensive recruiting coordinator Devin Bice have all been selected to the NFL's long-time vocational tool to help outstanding coaches gain exposure to NFL programs.
The trio of Wolves will be invited to attend OTAs and mini-camps for the Baltimore Ravens this June to observe, participate, and gain experience in how they operate.
All three of the UWG staff members selected are in their first year at UWG under head coach Steve Englehart. Both Davis and Bice coached under Englehart at Presbyterian and Davis played under Englehart and was a two-time All-American at Florida Tech.
Alcorn came to UWG as part of Englehart's staff after two seasons at Gardner-Webb.
About the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship: The Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship is an NFL program designed to provide minority coaches with hands-on experience in professional football environments. Established in honor of Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh, the fellowship places participants with NFL teams during offseason programs, training camp, and preseason, allowing them to observe and assist with coaching duties, player development, film study, and practice operations. The initiative aims to expand access, increase representation, and create pathways for diverse coaching candidates by giving them direct exposure to NFL systems, staff collaboration, and day-to-day team operations. It has become one of the league's most impactful pipelines for developing future coaches and strengthening diversity across all levels of the sport.
