100 YARDS AND COUNTING
With back-to-back 100-yard games under his belt, senior running back Lamarcus Franks stepped into the UWG record books last week, becoming the 19th back in school history to rush for at least 1,000 yards in a career. He currently has 1,062 career rushing yards, and needs 60 to move into 18th place.

AT HOME UNDER HALL
This will be the 17th home game for West Georgia under head coach Will Hall, and coming into the matchup, UWG is 16-0 in University Stadium in 16 games under Hall. Three of the 16 games have been the GSC-TV Live Game of the Week, and the Wolves have outscored opponents 129-73 in those games.

IRON SHARPENS IRON
The Wolves are on a two-game losing streak, but the schedule has been brutal to open the 2016 season. Through six games, West Georgia has played but two home games and has faced five opponents that reached the playoffs in 2015. That includes three teams named as a conference champion last year (Catawba, Miles, North Alabama).
THIS WEEK
The West Georgia Wolves return home for the first time since mid-September, and head coach Will Hall's team is looking to return to the win column after two straight losses. This week's opponent, West Alabama, comes into the contest following an offensive explosion last week in a 54-42 victory over Delta State.

PATHWAY TO THE PLAYOFFS
Despite the two straight losses, the Wolves are still in a position to make a run for the 2016 playoffs, but the margin of error is significantly slimmer heading into week seven. West Georgia is ranked 24th nationally and is the lowest among the national rankings in Super Region 2.

UWG OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION
On the West Georgia side, the offense has had flashes of brilliance this season and has had plenty of scoring help from the defense and special teams. The Wolves have scored at least 23 points in every game thus far, with a breakdown of eight touchdown passes, eight rushing touchdowns, two interception returns for a touchdown, a punt block for a touchdown and a kickoff return for a score as the plays which have resulted in a touchdown.

THE COACHES
West Georgia's coach is Will Hall, who is in his third season at the helm of the UWG program. The Wolves are 28-7 under Hall, including 5-3 in the postseason. In his sixth year as a head coach, Hall is 53-17. In his third season at West Alabama, Brett Gilliland has a solid 15-13 record through the first six games of the 2016 season.

WOLVES ON THE FRONT
The Wolves' defensive front has been stellar in the past three weeks, delivering on 16 sacks in the last four games. West Georgia sacked North Alabama quarterback Jacob Tucker two weeks ago, including three from Dylan Donahue. It was the third straight game that Donahue has had three sacks.

THE UWG AIR ATTACK
The West Georgia receiving corps has had a solid season this year, with five different players on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from quarterback Will Gardner. Juniors Qa Walker and Deniko Carter lead the way in receiving yardage, with the pair combining to produce more than 700 of the Wolves' 1,125 receiving yards this year. Both have 100-yard receiving games on the year.

TWO-WAY STAR
One of the biggest stories of the season thus far has been the versatility of senior Alex Armah. The Dacula native has been a two-way player for West Georgia, starting at both defensive end and tight end for the past three weeks. Last week, he picked up his first score as a starter, hauling in a 41-yard touchdown pass against Valdosta State. Armah caught the ball at the VSU30, then gave a fantastic stiff-arm that propelled him down the sideline for the score.
