FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The third round provided the lowest score of the tournament for the UWG women's golf team as West Georgia finished ninth at the South Region Preview at Grande Oaks Golf Club.

It was a final round 306 for the Wolves, moving them up one spot from ninth to tenth and ahead of Gulf South Conference foe West Florida.

The Wolves were led by
Maddy Schultz on day three, shooting a one-over 72, but finished in 31
st place individually. Schultz double-bogeyed the first hole of the day, but made three birdies in the round.

Ainsley Cowart had the best individual finish for the Wolves, placing tied for 22
nd after a final round 77. Kathrine Densmore's final round 78 put her in a 29
th-place tie. Like Schultz, Densmore also made three birdies on the day.

In a 50
th-place tie was
Michelle Bagsic who shot 79 on the final day.
Ari Samuel shot 83 on Tuesday to finish in 62
nd.

Lynn University won the tournament with a final round 285.

The Wolves' next tournament is set for September 27-28 in McCormick, S.C. for the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational.
