CARROLLTON, Ga. - Eight UWG Cheerleading student-athletes will be representing UWG on the world stage, competing for Team USA in the ICU World Cheerleading Championships in April of 2025. 

Two different stunt groups from UWG's squad were selected, and they are made up of Haley McBroom, Journey Norris, Jasmine Braddock, Sarah Klinck, Journey Willis, Clarke Johnson, Kate Gann, and Josie Viator. 

"We are so proud of the dedication our student-athletes continue to put towards perfecting their craft and growing in this sport," said head cheerleading coach Nicole Nichols. "This effort takes extra hours beyond practices for our UWG teams and they truly have put in the work and we can't wait to see and support them on their journey." 

Four of the eight, McBroom, Norris, Braddock, and Klinck, competed for Team USA last year, helping the team win a gold medal. 

This year's competition is set for April 23-25, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.
