CARROLLTON, Ga. - After propelling the University of West Georgia Basketball team to one of the best regular seasons in School History, Guard Camron Donatlan has been named First Team All-GSC.
In his second year at UWG, Donatlan earns his first All-GSC selection after turning in the best season of his career. In the 2023-24 regular season, Donatlan averaged 17.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 steals per game on 49.3 percent shooting. The senior recorded five double-doubles on the year, including a 36-point, 10-rebound double-double against Lee back on January 8.
With his play throughout the year, Donatlan was named the GSC Player of the Week twice.
While being one of, if not, the best slashers in the conference, Donatlan is also one of the greatest defenders in the league, making him one the best two-way guards in the entire country.
Donatlan joins Zawdie Jackson on the first team, making them the first UWG duo to be selected First Team All-GSC since Mantevius Jackson and Shawn Myers in 1996-97.
Post-season basketball begins for Donatlan and the Wolves tonight when they welcome the Union Bulldogs to the Coliseum for the 2024 GSC Tournament Quarterfinals.
