Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The University of West Georgia Tennis team dropped a midweek GSC contest to the Lee Flames, 6-1, on Thursday.
West Georgia's (3-4, 0-2 GSC)
Luna Mouton and Karla Menedez won their doubles match but the Wolves failed to win the Double's point after dropping the other two matches.
Lea Von Kozierowski was placed in the number one singles spot and dropped her match to Lee's (5-1, 2-1 GSC) Ashleigh Simes, while
Sophie Mnich occupied number two singles and fell in straight sets to the Flames' Maria Penalver Aguilo.
Karla Menedez, Andy Medel, and
Rebeca Lopez all fell in their respective singles matches before
Callie Stanfield picked up the lone win for UWG in line six.
Stanfield won the first set, 6-2, before clinching the match 6-3 in set two, defeating Hayden Smith.
West Georgia will be back in action on Friday for a GSC matchup against West Florida at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Hills Country Club.
