Box Score HOMEWOOD, Ala. - The University of West Georgia tennis fell in a close matchup to the Christian Brothers Buccaneers, 4-3 at the Homewood Tennis Club on Monday afternoon.
West Georgia (4-7, 1-5) was able to win the doubles point as Lea Von Kozierowski and Futaba Saito were able to win their set 6-2, and Karla Menendez along with Luna Mouton won their doubles match 6-2.
The remaining points came from Andrea Medal who won her singles match with the first set winning 6-2, and the second set 7-5
Rebeca Lopez was next in line to win the singles as she swept the first set 6-3, and won her second set, 6-2. That was all the winners for the Wolves as Christian Brothers (9-8,3-4) ends up winning the match 4-3.
West Georgia will be back in action on Thursday, April 4th at Tuskegee University at 2:00 P.M. at the Pepsico Tennis Courts.
