CARROLLTON, Ga. - A total of 337 UWG student-athletes have been honored as part of the Wolves Student-Athlete GPA Honor Roll for their work in the classroom in the fall semester.
To be on the Wolves Student-Athlete Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.00 term GPA or higher. UWG also boasted an overall cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.19 across the Wolves' 16 NCAA sponsored sports as well as cheerleading. That number was up from 3.14 in the spring semester of 2024.
"Congratulations to our exceptional student athletes! Their hard work and dedication on the field and in the classroom are truly inspiring," said David Haase, UWG Senior-Associate Athletics Director for Student Development. "They've shown that excellence knows no bounds, and their achievements reflect not just talent but resilience and commitment. We look forward to watching our students push the limits and continue to shine both academically and athletically!"
The Wolves Student-Athlete GPA Honor Roll is broken down to four levels based on term GPA, with those posting a 4.00 GPA earning platinum honors. The next level is gold, which is awarded to those with a 3.50-3.99 term GPA. Silver honors go to those with a 3.25-3.49 GPA while those with a 3.00-3.24 GPA earn bronze honors.
Of the 337 student-athletes named to the honor roll, 89 were platinum honors, 136 earned gold honors, 57 were silver, and 55 were bronze.Â
